Stevie Wonder calls it quits with wife of 11 years

Stevie Wonder has filed for divorce to end his marriage with his fashion designer wife, Kai Millard Morris. The couple have been together for 11 years but they have been separated since 2009, therefore the request for divorce is not coming as a complete surprise.
In the court papers, Wonder, 62, agreed to pay spousal and child support. He also seeks to get joint custody of their children, Kailand, 10, and seven-year-old Mandla.
Although Stevie Wonder amassed his wealth decades prior to meeting his wife, Kai, it is likely that some of his assets will be divided between them both. According to California law, barring a pre-nuptial agreement, community property law dictates that assets earned during the marriage are split equally in a divorce.
